Surf clubs running rescue

There are many times when lifeguards are not on duty.  This is where surfing clubs have come into action.  In the UK in areas such as Cornwall, Devon, Norfolk, Sussex and Yorkshire, surfing clubs have been coming to the rescue.  So far in 2018 they have carried out 57 rescues in the mornings and evenings. There are now 17 surf lifesaving club registered patrols.
